Busy day - journee chargee

Saturday was a busy day. In the morning, we went to pick up Nathan's crib, thanks to Stephanie who let us borrow her car for the day to transport the crib. I'll post a pic of the crib later. In the afternoon, Luis, Veronica and their daughter Angelina...

Bald ? - Chauve ?

Today, we noticed that Nathan is starting to loose his baby hair on the top of his head. It gives him a strange hair style. We may have to keep a hat on for a while ! I'm posting a picture from 2 weeks ago (on the left) and one from today (on the right)....

Girls' night out - boys night in - les filles sont de sortie - les hommes restent a la maison

Umbilical cord - cordon ombilical

Nathan just lost his ombilical cord today. I'm excited as I will now be able to give him real bath. I guess I'll wait until we see the Doctor next week for his one month visit. According to my cousin Fanie, the tradition is to burry it under a rose bush,...

Three weeks - 3 semaines

Nathan is already 3 weeks today. We think he is already over 7 pounds (weight it at home, not as precise as the scale at the Dr office). He can eat up to 3 ounces at once, and sleep up to 3 hours straight, usually during the day ! At night, he mainly...

Back to work - de retour au travail

Tummy time - sur le ventre

We tried some tummy time today on Auntie Helen's playmat, but Nathan is not too sure what he is supposed to do, so, he decided to have a nice little rest. He has a really stronge neck already and will lift his head up when he is on our chest or shoulder,...

fingers - doigts

Nathan is fascinated by his fingers. We don't think he controls them yet nor does he realize they belong to him(as he sometimes jumps when his fingers get to close to his face, or does he put themn in his eyes). He has a few fingers or his whole feast...

and more visitors - de nouveaux visiteurs

Today, Susan and Angela visisted us. We don't have any pic with them, but, they took a family pic of the 3 of us (though Nathan was sleeping). Susan brought a really soft Teddy Bear and a Christmas hat (will have to wait for the Christmas pic to see it!)...
